From the M5 Motorway turn off at Junction 27 onto the A361 (dual carriageway) heading towards Tiverton and Barnstaple. Keeping to the left hand lane turn off at the first exit (Holbrook Lane), which is less than half a mile. It is sign posted Sampford Peverell. Turn left at the mini roundabout at the top of that slip road heading towards the village (Sampford Peverell). Continue for half a mile then as you enter the village turn right into Whitnage Road. The Parkway House Hotel (aka Cézannes) is on your right. Travel a further half a mile crossing a canal bridge, under a road bridge (A361) and through a series of bends then take the first turning on your left (do not go straight on up the hill to Westleigh!). Travel a further half a mile along this country lane to the next junction. You are now in Whitnage. Turn left again and we are a further 200 yards on the left just past the farm entrance, the first cottage on the left (Whitnage Cottage).
